Sorry for the intermittent disappearance, I was just packing my things and such.
How’s everyone else? Anyone wanna keep me company or talk to me while I wait for the big reveal?
Wait, what’s happening?
What Heather did not know is that Naya could somehow sense her presence and hear the words she was saying. She suddenly felt a little better knowing the blonde was here, close to her. Though, at the same time, she was a bit worried about Heather’s feelings. Seeing me like this… this must hurt her so bad. I wish she didn’t have to endure that. I’d do anything to just wake up without her help, to be able to smile and to reassure her, to tell her that everything is fine, that I’m alright.
She listened to every words Heather pronounced, answering her in thoughts. I can hear you, I wish I could tell you that. And I love you too, no matter what. If it doesn’t work, please be happy without me. I will always love you, even if you find someone else and… I- oh God those lips. Is it real? I’m not dreaming, right? This is… This is really happening, right? Right?
She waited for the curse to be lifted. It should work, right? The message said “until true love kiss” or something like that, right? Then why isn’t… why am I still unable to move or open my eyes? Why isn’t it working, why… WHY?!
Heather stared down at Naya, still lifeless. Tears started rolling down her cheeks as she started to panic. She knelt down next to the bed and rested her forehead on the edge. “Why didn’t it work? It was suppose to work,” she sobbed, hovering over the girl again. She started pressing light kisses all over Naya’s face. “Please…” Kiss. “Wake…” Kiss. “Up…” and one last kiss before resting her head on her chest, giving up. “Naya, please wake up…please…” she breathed out.
Because you’re a stalker…
Nickayla smiled at her, taking a step forward to hug Heather again, and whispered, “Thanks. Thank you for being here. Only you could do that for her, you know?” She let her go, nodding and stayed out of the room, as promised.
Inside, lying on her bed, was Naya. She seemed peaceful, even though her skin looked a little paler than usual. Apart from that, she looked nothing like a dead person should look like: no blisters on the skin, her body didn’t seem to be bloated or swollen, and definitely not in rigor mortis. Basically, she just looked like she was asleep… only paler and colder to the touch.
Heather squeezed Nickayla tightly and nodded, stepping inside the room where Naya was. She stopped of few feet from the bed, staring at the lifeless girl. She still looked beautiful as ever.
After a few minutes, she finally walked over to the bed and knelt down beside Naya. She brushed her hand grew her hair, wiping it off of her cheek and out of her face. “Naya…?” she barely whispered with sad eyes. She sighed. “I know you can’t hear me…and I have to kiss you in order for you to wake up, but…I don’t know if it’s going to work…” she cried. “If it doesn’t…then I want you to know that I love you…” she sobbed. “I’ll always love you, ok?” she choked out. Heather then wiped the tears from her cheek, standing up and took in a deep breath. She hovered over Naya and slowly placed a soft kiss to her lips before pulling away completely and looking down at the girl in hope that she’d wake up.
Nickayla shrugged. “That’s what Harry said. He didn’t tell you anything about it, apparently…” She chewed on her cheek weighing the pros and cons about telling Heather the whole truth or not. “Let’s just say that she is like Snow White. She needs a kiss to be awakened.”
She nodded softly. “If you want to see her she’s… in her room, lying on her bed. But um, don’t… don’t be… uhh… she doesn’t look… like herself. So don’t be surprised. I’ll be… I can come with you if you want, or stay out of the room. Your choice.”
Heather nodded, looking confused. “Ok…Well, whatever it takes for her to wake up,” she stated confidently. “I’ll do it.”
Heather took in a shaky breath. “Um…I’d rather go alone…” she frowned. “If that’s ok…?”
